The Launching - Introducing SGU New MPC Lab

oFinally, SGU Faculty of Information Technology is launching the new MPC lab, below our Dean of IT is describing the donation of TE Connectivity and our new iMac:

Pre-launching - The Final Touch

Finally, on the 8th August 2011, we are preparing for the launching, the room is now decorated with TE connectivity posters, as show below:

Day 24 - 26 -- Patch Panel, Face Plate and Testing

From 3rd August until 5th August, TE Connectivity team helped in guiding us how to install and test the new cable.  The Face plate is now fixed on its place as indicated below:

Next, tidying up the cable coming out from iMac, so that it will look elegant:

Under the table, the power cable is also tidy and looks really neat. Here are the view from under the table:

Day 18 - 23 - Network Cable Installation

Finally, on 2nd August 2011, the network cable team is ready to install the network cable.  When completed, these cables can handle maximum 10 GB data flowing in the cables. Below the snapshot of installation of the CAT 6A cables:
